Step 1: Consultation
Your consultation allows us to understand the condition of your teeth and soft tissues. We will take X-rays and CT scans of your mouth and jaw so we can locate the area of the jawbone that will support the implant most successfully.
If you have low jawbone density, we may need to carry out a bone graft, which will cultivate a healthy jawbone for future implant placement.
Step 2: Surgery day
Your implants are normally placed under local anaesthetic; but you also have the option of IV sedation. Once implanted into the jaw, a temporary fixed bridge is usually fitted the same day. The implants forge a connection with the jawbone and heal in 4-5 months. We will ask you to come in for routine check-ups between your surgery and your finaly bridge or denture fitting day so we can keep an eye on the healing process.
Step 3: Fixed bridge
